Noosa Dog Beach is temporarily closed due to dredging works at the Noosa River Mouth, Terrace Marina would like all customers to understand how this may impact their Noosa boat hire. please be aware that some beach and car park closures are now in place as of 03/07/2023.
The Dog Beach and adjacent parking are the areas most effected with complete closures in place until late September 2023.
The closure extends beyond the shoreline with waterway access being impacted. The closure zone denies access to both powered and non-powered recreational marine craft as well as swimmers.
Marine Vessels will still have access to the river mouth and the main channel but greater caution is required due to changed conditions.

Terrace Marina customers will experience very little impact as the works are limited to a small area that is easily avoided. We do remind all of our customers that it essential they comply with the closure during their Noosa boat hire and exercise greater caution near dredging plant and equipment. We extend this reminder to all kayak hire and SUP hire customers.
We have included Noosa Council’s closure map for easy reference and our staff will be happy to offer guidance on avoiding the closed area.
