Our Noosa Jet Ski Safari is a 1.5 hour guided ride from the Noosa River out into the ocean. You’ll cruise along the Noosa National Park coastline past Little Cove and Tea Tree Bay to Granite Bay, keeping an eye out for dolphins on the way.
After about an hour, we head back into the river and pull up on the Noosa North Shore, behind the Frying Pan. You get 15 minutes to stretch your legs, have a swim and grab a drink and a snack, while your guide talks about the local wildlife, the Noosa Bar and the sand dunes.
Once refreshed, it’s back on the jet skis for more action and fun in our designated circuit area before making our way back to Terrace Marina.
Ocean, Coastline and River in One Noosa Jet Ski Tour
At 1.5 hours, the Noosa Jet Ski Safari is our longest jet ski tour, and it’s made for people who want to see as much of Noosa from the water as they can in one go. You ride the open ocean along the national park coastline, take a proper break on the North Shore, then finish with some fast laps of the river circuit before heading home to the marina.
The break in the middle makes a real difference. Instead of riding flat out from start to finish, you get time to step off the ski, grab a drink and a muffin, and talk about what you’ve just seen before the second half kicks off.
Guided the Whole Way
Each safari takes a maximum of five jet skis. One guide leads the group, and a second guide may follow behind for the bar crossing. Your guide stays with you for the entire safari, so you can relax and enjoy the ride. You don’t need a licence or any jet ski experience, and you can swap drivers, so two people sharing a ski can both have a turn at the controls.
Who the Safari Suits
The safari is a great pick for couples, mates and visitors who want more than a quick spin, or anyone who’s ridden with us before and wants to go further. If you’d rather keep it shorter, our Jet Ski Ocean Tour runs for 45 minutes or 1 hour, and our Noosa River Jet Ski Tour stays on the calmer water of the river.
Jet Ski Safari Times
We run up to five safaris a day, all year round, with a 15 minute gap between each one. Every safari leaves from our marina in Noosaville.
- 8:00am to 9:30am
- 9:45am to 11:15am
- 11:30am to 1:00pm
- 1:15pm to 2:45pm
- 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time so there’s plenty of time to check in and get fitted with your life jacket.

The safari is $315 per jet ski, and there’s no extra charge for a passenger.

Who Can Ride a Jet Ski Safari
You don’t need a boat licence or any jet ski experience, and you can swap drivers. Riders must be 16 or older to ride alone, and if two people share a jet ski, one of them must be 18 or over. Passengers need to be at least 7 years old and 125cm tall, with a maximum of 2 people per jet ski.

Cancellations and Weather
If the Noosa Bar or the ocean is too rough, your safari runs as a river tour instead.
You’ll get a full refund or credit if you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, or if we cancel because of the weather. To cancel, please give us a call. No shows are charged the full price, and any changes to your booking need 48 hours’ notice.
